Newcastle goes shopping at Inter, offers 60 million euros for the superstar

The Premier League team, Newcastle United is reported to be putting a lot of pressure to close the deal with Inter for the services of the Italian Nicolo Barella.

English newspaper The Telegraph claim that Newcastle, who have qualified for the Champions League for the first time since 2003-04, have set aside the bulk of their summer transfer budget for two young midfielders.

According to them, an agreement is considered to be achievable and that intensive talks have been held over the last few days.

The English newspaper writes that a possible transfer will cost somewhere around 60 million euros.

If Newcastle were able to agree a deal for Barella, it has also been claimed that he would immediately become the highest paid player at the club.
