Messi-mania, Inter Miami, the fifth most followed team in America on Instagram

In just one week, that is, from the moment when Messi himself declared that he would join the team from Florida, Inter Miami has increased from 1 to 8 million followers on Instagram.

An impact that is affecting not only American football but American sports in general. (A week ago, Inter Miami had only 8.1 million followers)

What are the most followed American sports teams on Instagram?

Speaking of American sports teams, there are many that come to mind and are very popular. However, only four of them have more Instagram followers than Inter Miami.

At number 4 we have the Chicago Bulls with 9.7 million followers. In third place we have the Cleveland Cavaliers with 15.7 million.

In second place are the Los Angeles Lakers with 22.8 million and in first place are the Golden State Warriors with 30.6 million followers as of Tuesday, June 13.
