In a recent interview with the Swiss media "20min.ch", Abrashi says that his biggest wish is to play another European with Albania. "Playing another European championship would be good. The first time we went to France in 2016, we got a hero's welcome at home. The emotions we experienced in the country after the historic qualification were simply incredible. Asked if he regrets leaving Switzerland for Albania, Abrashi sees it differently: "Players like Behrami or Dzemaili played in my position, now it's Freuler, Xhaka or Zakaria. Looking back, I think my decision for Albania was the best of my career. I stand by her. How do I feel more? I have the discipline of a Swiss and the mentality of an Albanian (laughs). I love Switzerland, I owe a lot to this country and to football here. I would say I am 60% Albanian and 40% Swiss", concluded Abrashi.
