Maignan's situation changes, Milan prepares to sign him

The renewal issue between Milan and Mike Maignan has been reopened. The verbal agreement previously reached was halted in February, following some uncertainties over the goalkeeper's performance and the club's choice to freeze negotiations.

During the summer, Maignan was close to a move to Chelsea, but negotiations broke down. Milan have now submitted a new offer to extend his contract until 2029, with an option for another season.

The proposal foresees 5.5 million euros net per season, with bonuses that bring the amount to around 7 million. The difference with the player's request remains, so the club is evaluating alternatives.

Meanwhile, interest from other clubs, including Juventus and Inter, remains present. A final decision has not yet been made.
