The match in Europe/ Serbian fans turn back, they are accused of a coup

The match between Sheriff of Tiraspol and Partizan of Belgrade will be played behind closed doors. The decision was recently taken by the Moldovan Football Federation based on the incident that happened with the Serbian fans. The match was moved from Tiraspoli to Chisinau for security reasons, while Serbian fans were not allowed to enter the Moldavian state.

The president of Moldova, Maja Sandu, raised allegations that the Serbs were organizing a coup with the support of Russia. For this reason, the fans of Partizan Belgrade went back to their country, without having the opportunity to support the team for this valuable match for the Conference League. Then, the Football Federation of Moldova made the decision to play the match with an empty stadium, not even allowing Sherif Tiraspol fans to be present in the stands.
