Madness in Napoli, Spalletti towards dismissal

Luciano Spalletti achieved extraordinary success this season. After 33 years, the championship title returns to Naples. The Italian coach produced a season to be applauded in charge of the Blues, who had not won this trophy since the time of Diego Armando Maradona.

But in the end the reward he can get is a… dismissal. Italian media reports that there is a strained relationship between Spalletti and President De Laurentiis.

Their relationship is deteriorating, so separation seems the most likely option for the parties. Meanwhile, De Laurentiis has marked some of the candidates who can take the Naples bench. The two most talked about names are Conte and Benitez, while the list continues with De Zerbi, Gasperini and Italiano.
