"King Claudio is back", Ranieri introduces himself at the club where he became famous

Claudio Ranieri returns to the bench. The well-known Italian coach has accepted to undertake a difficult challenge, to make a club where he became famous at the beginning of his career great again.

Today, Ranieri has been made official as the new coach of the Cagliari team, as he has decided to lead the islanders in a challenge where the objective will be to climb to Serie A, even though the beginning of the championship has not been the one hoped for and the team is far from this the objective.

Ranieri managed Cagliari from 1988 to 1991, taking them from Serie C to Serie A, gaining fame in a career that subsequently took him to the top of European football.

"This is the place where I realized that I could become a coach and I have taken this experience here with me wherever I have been", Ranieri told reporters after the officialization of his company as the new coach of Cagliari.
