"King, the best number 9 of our generation", eulogy for Benzema

Mesut Ozil retired from football a few days ago. The German fantasist played with Real Madrid during the years (2010-2013). The 34-year-old briefly commented on the excellent form of Karim Benzema, his former teammate at "Los Blancos".

The French bomber and Ballon d'Or winner scored a hat-trick in the 0-4 win over Barcelona at Camp Nou. He also scored three goals at the weekend against Valladolid, a match which Carlo Ancelotti's boys won 6-0.

" The king! My son Benzi, the best Number 9 of our generation ," Ozil wrote in a tweet. Real Madrid qualified for the Copa del Rey final and will face Osasuna. Meanwhile, the reigning champions of Spain and Europe will challenge Chelsea in the semi-finals of the Champions League.
