Armando Broja appeared very happy, after playing the first match of the season. The striker overcame the injury and started the match at Everton U-21. The Albanian played with the 21-year-olds to get in shape, before becoming active with the first team.

However, at Everton U-21, Broja only played one part against Watford. The Everton club explained that it had been substituted at the break, as previously planned. The plan was for Broja to play only one part and that's what happened.

After the match, the striker appeared happy to be back, while the aim is to play with the first team as soon as possible.

"I'm happy to be back on the pitch and I'm getting better to be back with the first team. I was very excited to wear the Everton shirt. It was a very good feeling. I hope to wear the first team shirt as soon as possible.

I played the first half, but I felt I could play more. However, the plan was to play only 45 minutes, and the start was good for me.

As a player, you should always be patient. You need patience with injuries, patience with situations that are not always in your control. I would have liked to have come back sooner, but it's one of those times where you just have to be patient, take your time, make sure you're okay and make sure everything's okay.  

When I first came to Everton, I would have given anything to be out there on the pitch with the other players. This is what every player wants: to be there with the team week after week, playing and training ," said Broja.
