League of Nations/ Coach Foda: Kosovo is playing for first place

The representative of Kosovo is ready for the two matches of the month of September in the Champions League, against Romania and Cyprus.

After the publication of the list, the coach of the Dardanians, Franco Foda, spoke at the press conference, saying that all the players are in very good shape.

The German technician stated that the goal is only the first place in the ranking and to score more goals than in the past.

"We have finished the friendlies and are preparing for the new edition of the League of Nations. All players are in good shape. We are very motivated and happy for the first match at home, so we will do everything to win against Romania.

It's great when you have so many fit players to choose from. In the past matches we did not score so many goals, but now we have players like Muriqi, Rrahmani, Zhegrova and Asllani at our disposal. They have scored with their teams and we hope that they will also score with Kosovo.

The most important goal for us is to win the first game. Of course, our objective is to win the matches and be the first in the group," declared Foda.

Kosovo is part of League C, in group 2, together with Romania, Cyprus and Lithuania. The Dardanians start their journey against Romania at home, on September 6, in the match scheduled to be played at "Fadil Vokrri", while 3 days later, they will face Cyprus in the transfer.
