Leo Messi is chosen as the best player in MLS

Leo Messi has been chosen as the best player of the season in Major League Soçer. The Argentinian striker has received the important evaluation, after shining with the Inter Miami shirt.

With 21 goals scored and 18 assists in 22 games, Messi was undoubtedly the main protagonist in MLS, with his team.

After the award, Messi appeared very happy, but with the caveat that he could not be declared champion with Inter Miami.

"I'm very happy to be here every day, I'm very happy to be in this city, in this growing club. However, I would have liked to receive this award in a different situation, to play in the final next Saturday. But football is also like that. This year we had a big dream, to become MLS champions. It didn't happen, but next year we will come back stronger to try again", declared Messi.
