Ivan Gvozdenovic made his presentation as the new coach of Elbasan this Friday, where he will succeed the departed Roberto Bordi.

In his speech, the Serbian technician did not spare praise for the team, which he said he knows well. 

Gvozdenovic was down to earth, not making big promises. 


"I know him very well. Two or three times we have played in friendlies, then in the championship. In the first match 1 to 1 in Korça, here 0-0. I know the team, it is good and has quality. Elbasan is in fifth place, has 21 points. I can't say it's a bad situation, it's normal, but we will definitely try to do a little better, we have three weeks. Three games away, we will work, we will do our best.

Elbasan is a good, big club, with fans and traditions, with a name. I know they want to reach the "Final Four", that's right. I'm only here for one day, I can't say for sure that we will catch the "Final Four". It's not acceptable, it's not normal. We will do our best, we will fight for the club's goal, whether we reach the goal or not, we will talk in May when the championship is over. I have faith in the team, I am very positive, but we will talk week by week together and see how we will come out", said Gvozdenovic.
