World Cup 2026 / Pots are divided for the qualifiers draw, here's when the draw is made

After the completion of the UEFA Nations League group matches, the pots for the 2026 World Cup qualifiers have been divided. The draw will be made on December 13 in Zurich, Switzerland, and Albania is positioned in pot 3.

In the same pot as Albania are: Scotland, Slovenia, Ireland, North Macedonia, Georgia, Finland, Iceland, Northern Ireland, Israel, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Montenegro.

Pot 1: France, Spain, England, Portugal, Netherlands, Belgium, Italy, Germany, Croatia, Switzerland, Denmark, Austria.

Pot 2: Ukraine, Turkey, Sweden, Wales, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Greece, Romania, Norway, Slovakia, Czech Republic.

Pot 4: Bulgaria, Luxembourg, Belarus, Armenia, Kosovo, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Cyprus, Faroe Islands, Latvia, Lithuania.

Pot 5: Moldova, Malta, Andorra, Gibraltar, Liechtenstein, San Marino./ CNA
