Even the U-19 national team will go down to the field today and start preparations for the two friendly matches against Montenegro, which will be played on October 11 and 13. Coach Julian Ahmataj has invited 21 red and black players for these two challenges, where 13 of them are active in clubs abroad while the rest play with Albanian teams in our country.

The U-19 national team starts gathering in Shkodër from this Monday. The first match of the Reds and Blacks is scheduled to be played on October 11 in Podgorica at 13:00 and the second match is scheduled to be played two days later, on October 13 at 12:00.

These two friendly matches are the last test for Albania led by coach Julian Ahmataj to validate the red and black group, as in November the red and black will play their chance in the first round of European 2025 qualifiers for this age group. Albania is part of group 11 together with Israel, Denmark and Northern Ireland and has as its objective the transition to the "Elite Round" stage.
