Important investment, another modern plant in Superiore

In May 2025, Albania will welcome the finals of the U-17 European Championship for the first time. The Football Federation, in cooperation with UEFA, will organize this historic event, holding all matches in four selected stadiums; "Air Albania", "Elbasan Arena", "Egnatia Arena" and "Niko Dovana".

The AFL has worked intensively over the past few months to ensure that every detail is ready for this championship, especially in the sports infrastructure.

The "Egnatia Arena" stadium in Rrogozhin is nearing the end of its complete reconstruction. ALF's investments include; the installation of a modern lighting system, the equipment with a perimeter LED screen, work on the stands and the installation of new benches and other improvements to the stadium's infrastructure.

The stadium is expected to meet all UEFA standards, getting ready to host championship matches. The finals of the U-17 European Championship "Albania 2025" will take place from May 19 to June 1, 2025.
