First time in history! Juventus, Inter and Milan break the negative record

Napoli is a little away from being declared champion, as this season it seemed that the Neapolitans would triumph from the beginning of the championship. No team in Italy has come close to rivaling Napoli and for weeks, the Blues have been leading by a huge points margin.

However, in Italy it is the first time that no team between Juventus, Inter and Milan competes for the title 6 weeks before the end of the championship. Throughout history, there was at least one contending team, unlike this season.

The three teams together have won a total of 67 championship titles and only in 3 cases, none of them was ranked in the "Top-3". The last time that the top three did not include at least one of these teams was in 1942 and since that season it has not happened. This season, the fight is fierce for a place in the Champions League and no team has secured its place, with the exception of Napoli.
