"The righteous is never defeated", Izmir Smajlaj wins innocence

Izmir Smajlaj is innocent. It is this decision of the court, which allows the athlete from Shkodran to return to all athletic activities, already dismissed from all the charges brought against him.

The athlete from Shkodran, the champion of Europe, the Balkans and Albania's record holder, has managed to win the legal battle developed in France with the "Athletic Integrity Unit".

Who had accused the 30-year-old of manipulating the result in cooperation. Smajlaj reacted through a post on social networks, where he writes:

" The righteous is never defeated! Innocent!

Thanks to a long legal battle with the AIU, the London-based Sport Resolution (World Court of Sports) has declared my INNOCENT against allegations of cheating in a competition in which I participated.

I was convinced that the foreign judges would appreciate the truth and understand that everything that had been investigated was wrong and without facts against me.

So I am very happy, and through this post I also communicate my return to the track.
