Godelli: How does the state forget someone who won 50 medals? Sadness!

The athlete Luiza Gega, the weightlifters Briken Calja and Erkand Qerimaj, the boxer Alban Beqiri and the Kosovar judokas Nora Gjakova, Majlinda Kelmendi and Distria Krasniqi through a ceremony held in the premises of the Ministry of Defense, 7 elite sportsmen have received the honorary rank of colonel.

Regarding the ceremony held today, where state officials were not absent, Daniel Godelli reacted. The well-known Albanian weightlifter expected that he would also be part of the athletes who were promoted to colonels.

" Along with the joy I experienced for my colleagues whose suffering I know, I also experienced sadness! My country, the homeland where I was born, raised and did not leave even though the offers were endless, had it forgotten me?

Why? Does my country not know who I am? Doesn't my country know that I, Daniel Godelli, have donated more than 50 medals to my homeland! Gold, silver and bronze medals.

I believe it was just forgetfulness and negligence. I am waiting for the correction of this mistake as soon as possible ", writes Daniel Godelli.
