Futsall/ Albanian national team defeated 5-1 by Armenia

The Albanian national futsal team played today the fourth qualifying match against Armenia, valid for the 2026 European Championship.

At the "Feti Borova" Olympic Park, the Red and Blacks were defeated with a score of 5-1.

Coach Erind Resuli started the match with this starting lineup: Fidan Misini (GK), Arif Limani, Arber Shkodra, Halim Selmanaj and Roald Halimi (C).

The first half ended goalless 0-0, while in the second half Armenia scored five times with Nevedrov (x3), Melkonyan and Khromykh. Albania found the only goal in the 39th minute with Ermir Kryeziu.

Albania Futsal is part of Group 6 in the 2026 European Championship qualifiers, along with Kazakhstan, Armenia and Denmark.

The Reds have two more matches on the schedule. On March 7, they will face Kazakhstan on the road, while the final match will take place on April 12 against Denmark in Tirana.
