Foda expects victory: To defeat Romania for first place

The coach of Kosovo, Franco Foda, spoke at the press conference, on the eve of the challenge with Romania, in the League of Nations.

Foda stated that his team enters the field to get the victory, in order to try for the first place in the ranking.

"Given the absences we have, we will be forced to make some changes either tactically or in the way we approach the opponents, as this is understandable due to the absences we have.

As for the aspect of whether we are here to win, of course we will enter the field to get the full points. It is important to perform well as a team, to be more aggressive, to be in possession of the ball, when we don't have it, to try to get it as soon as possible.

We have 90 minutes to achieve the victory, it does not mean that in the first seconds we will aim to get the victory. If we want to reach the first place in the group, we have to win this match.

My task is to prepare the team, last year I was not a coach, but we saw respect from the national teams even in the European championship, so I expect respect from Romania tomorrow as well", declared Foda.
