Sergio Busquets is expected to retire from playing football at the end of this MLS season, according to what COPE reports.

The 37-year-old Inter Miami midfielder will end a long and successful career, which began with Barcelona in 2008 under the guidance of Pep Guardiola.

During his time with the Blaugrana, he won 32 trophies, including 9 Spanish league titles and 3 Champions Leagues. Busquets has made 722 appearances for Barcelona, ??ranking third in the club's history with the most appearances.

He played 143 games for the Spanish national team, winning the 2010 World Cup and the 2012 European Championship. His role as a defensive midfielder helped define the famous "tiki-taka" style.
