The new edition of the Superior Category, here is when the calendar is published

The "Abissnet Superiore 2022/23" championship calendar will be announced this Friday, as the lottery for the new edition of elite Albanian football will be held in the conference hall of the "Air Albania" stadium.

The Communication Department of the AFL informs that the draw for the 84th edition of this championship will start tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. with the determination of the "Abyssnet Superiore" calendar, which will begin on 20.08.2022 and will end with last week on 24.05.2023.

The following teams participate in the Superior Category this season: KF Tirana, KF Laçi, KF Partizani, FK Kukësi, KF Vllaznia, KF Teuta, KS Kastrioti, KF Egnatia, KF Bylis and KF Erzeni.

Unlike previous seasons due to the Qatar 2022 World Cup finals and the compression of UEFA's calendar for the Champions League and UEFA Conference League qualifying matches, the championship will be interrupted on November 14, 2022 to return on December 15.

In the following days, the draw will be made for the championships of the First Category and the Second Category, which start on September 3 and October 1, respectively.
