Duel with Serbia, two National Team players make history

Rei Manaj has made history in Albania, as the author of the first goal scored against Serbia, in all matches between the two teams after the division of the former Yugoslavia.

This was also Manaj's 11th goal for the red and black jersey, equaling the record of Altin Rraklli and Hamdi Salihi. Ahead of him, in the ranking of the best goal scorers in the history of Albania, are Bogdani with 18 goals, Bushi with 14, Cikalleshi e Skela with 13 and Sadiku with 12.

In the match against Serbia, Elseid Hysaj recorded his 93rd appearance with the red and black national team, equaling Lorik Cana's record as the player with the most appearances in the history of the national team.

The 31-year-old Lazio defender has been a consistent starter, having started only 10 games as a substitute in his career and leaving the field on only 9 occasions.
