Historic double from Ronaldo, Portugal wins with "manita"

Portugal secured a comprehensive 5-0 victory over Uzbekistan at the World Cup, in a match where Cristiano Ronaldo set a historic record.

The Portuguese forward scored twice, scoring in the 6th and 39th minutes. With the first goal, Ronaldo became the first player to score in six different World Cups.

Nuno Mendes scored Portugal's second goal, while an own goal by Abduvohid Nematov added to the difference in the second half.

Rafael Leao scored the fifth goal in the final minutes of the match. Uzbekistan had a goal disallowed by VAR after Aziz Ganiev's shot was fouled in the build-up.

With this success, Portugal continues its journey in the tournament, while Uzbekistan remains with little chance of securing qualification.
