The Ajax striker, Muhammed Kudus, after scoring in the challenge against Sparta Rotterdam, dedicates the goal to Christian Atsu, who died from the earthquake with devastating consequences in Turkey and Syria.

After scoring the goal, the 22-year-old revealed a message under his shirt, "rest in peace Atsu". Together with Kudus, his teammates also joined, consoling the 22-year-old for the death of his compatriot, who have represented Ghana together in the international arena.

In addition to the celebration, the match referee Pon Van Boekel also stole the scene, who decided not to punish Kudus with a yellow card after removing his shirt. According to the official regulations, the player should be automatically punished with a yellow card after removing the shirt, however the referee decided not to punish him showing high human values.

Kudus himself after the end of the match, in the announcement for the media, showed respect for the referee's decision.

"We have rules in football, but this is beyond football. This is about life and death. The referee told me that it is not allowed to take off the shirt, but he understands that this situation is bigger than football. A great respect from me for the referee".

Christian Atsu has been part of Newcastle, Chelsea and Everton in the Premier League. Before his death, Atsu was part of Hatayspor.
