Dalic leaves Croatia, will lead another national team

Zlatko Dali? appears to be close to parting ways with the Croatian national team after a successful seven-year spell.

According to recent reports, Dali? is said to have reached an agreement to take charge of the Qatar national team, replacing current coach Felix Sanchez Lopez.

If the reports are correct, Dali? is expected to start work immediately, as Qatar will take part in the Gulf Cup in Kuwait this month.

The move comes despite Dali?'s contract with the Croatian FA running until 2026, with the plan to lead Croatia to the Nations League finals, 2026 World Cup qualifiers and the World Cup itself.

"Al Raya" media claims that the agreement between Dali? and Qatar has been reached and is expected to be formalized soon.

Dali? has had an excellent spell with Croatia, leading the team in 93 matches, recording 50 wins, 19 draws and 24 losses.

During this time, he won the silver medal at the 2018 World Cup, the bronze medal at the 2022 World Cup and the silver medal at the League of Nations. If he leaves, his legacy with Croatia will remain one of the most successful in the history of the national team.
