Licensing of clubs for the 2025-2026 season, the AFL gives the important

The Legal and Licensing Department of the clubs in the Albanian Football Federation informs all the clubs and the licensing administration that the licensing process of the clubs applying for a license in the AFL and UEFA competitions for the upcoming season 2025-2026 has begun.

There are six criteria that must be met: 1-sports criterion, 2-criterion of social responsibility and environmental protection, 3-criterion of infrastructure, 4-criterion of administration and personnel, 5-legal criterion and 6-financial criterion.

The deadlines for the submission of documentation by the applicant clubs are:

a- The internal deadline for submitting documentation for the first five criteria is January 31, 2025.

b- The deadline for submitting documentation for the first five criteria is February 28, 2025.

c- For the financial criterion, the internal deadline is February 28, 2025 and the final deadline is March 31, 2025.

The process will end on March 31, 2025, according to the deadlines set by the AFL and UEFA.

During this period, the clubs applying for a license must submit to the Legal and Licensing Department in the AFL all the required documentation to meet the six criteria required to successfully complete this process.

As we have jointly communicated, the Legal and Licensing Department of the clubs will organize a workshop on Friday (13.12.2024, 11:00 a.m. at the ALF premises, in which the Club Director and the financier must participate), with all the clubs applying for a license, to assist and help them in this process.

The Legal and Licensing Department at the AFL has also sent you by mail and e-mail a notification about the start of this process.
