Champions League/ Egnatia starts the European tour, today challenges the Icelandic champions

For the second year in a row, Egnatia is the first Albanian team to start the season, with a match against Breidablik in the first round of the Champions League, a match which will be played this Tuesday evening.

Edlir Tetova's team comes after two friendly victories against CSKA Sofia and Farul, which give them confidence for the European clash. This will be the first challenge in history between Egnatia and the Icelandic champions.

However, the Albanian team has a poor record at home, with only one win in their last ten games at the Egnatia Arena. Breidablik, unlike Egnatia, are in the middle of the season and are in third place in the Icelandic championship. They are unbeaten in their last five games and have scored in 14 of their last 15 matches.

In addition to Egnatia, Partizani, Vllaznia and Dinamo are also in the European competitions, the latter starting from the second round of the Conference League.

The Egnatia-Breidablik match will be played this Tuesday in Rrogozhina, starting at 21:00.
