"Bomb" in the Premier League! The bets take the striker of the English national team, 8 months suspension for the scorer

The English Premier League has lost one of the best strikers in the league. The third best scorer, Ivan Toni, has been suspended for 8 months and will stay away from the green fields.

The reason for this decision was the inclusion of the Brentford striker in the betting. For the footballer, an investigation had been launched for a long time since between 2017 and 2021, he was accused of 232 matches in terms of betting. Meanwhile, in the last month, he has been accused of 30 other violations and many of the charges have been accepted by the player.

"Ivan Toni has been suspended from all football activities with immediate effect for eight months, until 16 January 2024. He has been fined £50,000 and cautioned.

The Brentford striker was charged with 262 infringements between 25 February 2017 and 23 January 2021. The FA later withdrew 30 of these infringements and upheld the remaining 232," the FA said in a statement.
