The match between Bologna and Milan, scheduled for Saturday at 18:00, will be played, but probably not at "Dall'Ara" due to bad weather.

The mayor of Bologna, Matteo Lepore, signed an ordinance on Thursday calling for the game to be postponed. The decision was made due to weather forecasts and the fact that the area where the stadium is located was hit hardest by the recent floods.  

The match, the ordinance says, could create public order problems, however according to Italian media reports the mayor does not have the power to postpone a match and Serie A requires it to be played either at the Dall'Ara behind closed doors or in a neutral field.

One of the possibilities to play on a neutral ground is the city of Como, even there behind closed doors, as the time to put tickets on sale is very short.

Serie A has already reached an agreement with all the authorities to move the match to the "Giuseppe Sinigaglia" stadium.

In fact, the match has not been officially postponed and at this point there are three hypotheses:

- The match can be played on neutral ground, in Como, behind closed doors by order of Serie A.

- The match can be played on Saturday at 18:00 in Bologna, but behind closed doors.

- While the third possibility is that Bologna would lose if "Dall'Ara", which is currently usable, would not be available for the match.

However, the decision is still awaited for this match, which will likely be played on Saturday, since Serie A does not accept a postponement due to the very busy calendar. /CNA
