"UEFA B Fitness Coach" course, Arturo Gerosa, special guest of the AFL

The "UEFA B Fitness Coach" course, which is developed by the Albanian Football Federation, welcomed the next guest for this edition, Arturo Gerosa, rehabilitation specialist, with extensive experience in teams such as Juve Stabia, Monza and is currently part of the teams of the youth of Milan.

During the course, he spoke about the evolution of athletic training, where he emphasized the importance of regular and daily physical activities from the first years of life. It also focused on the role of technological advances in identifying new talent, the importance of monitoring the daily training load, and the role of medical tests, including joint tests, blood tests and medical history, to ensure performance optimal and fast recovery for athletes.

In addition, he introduced the Performance Ready model, which integrates GPS-based testing of athletic abilities such as metabolism, strength, speed and structural health.

The "UEFA B Fitness Coach" course is developed for the first time in Albania by the Football Federation in cooperation with UEFA, certifying athletic trainers in the field of football./ CNA
