Bayern Munich with Kimmich's place sealed

Joshua Kimmich's adventure at Bayern Munich appears to have come to an end. Recent reports from Germany suggest that the club's board have decided to withdraw their long-standing offer of a new contract.

Kimmich's current contract expires on June 30, 2025, and Bayern had initially presented him with a renewal offer that included a slight improvement in financial terms compared to his current contract, where he earns around €20 million per season. However, after a meeting of the club's board, it was decided to withdraw this offer due to the player's reluctance.

Bayern don't understand Kimmich's stance, especially considering the fact that the offer made was considerable.

The club wants a quick decision from the player and has no intention of bringing the same deal back on the table. Despite this, negotiations are still ongoing, but there is no guarantee that Kimmich will remain part of the team after the summer.
