The Albanian women's national team played its first match of the UEFA Nations League against Ukraine. At the "Niko Dovana" stadium, the friendly team triumphed with a score of 2-1.

Fortesa Berisha scored the only goal for Albania.

Coach Armir Grima started the match against Ukraine with this starting lineup: Viona Rexhepi (G), Armera Tukaj, Arbenita Curraj, Lavdije Begolli, Fortesa Berisha, Valentina Troka, Qendresa Krasniqi, Megi Doçi (C), Ezmiralda Franja, Klea Hamonikaj and Alma Hilaj.

At the "Niko Dovana" stadium, there was an electrifying atmosphere with fans who had responded positively to the invitation to support the National Team in this match.

The teams controlled the game in the first minutes and the match was unlocked in the 31st minute. For Ukraine, Olha Ovdiychuk scored. In the second half, the opponents scored the second goal in the 48th minute with Nicole Kozlova.

Albania tried to react and after several chances found the net only at the end of the match with Fortesa Berisha.

The match ended with Ukraine winning 2-1.

On February 25, Albania will play its second away match against the Czech Republic, at 5:30 PM.
