Asllani and Hajdari decisive, Hoffenheim takes the important victory

Hoffenheim won 2-1 away at Hamburg, recording their second consecutive Bundesliga victory and a club record for the number of wins in a season.

The first goal came within 20 minutes, when Asllani scored after a cross from Coufal. Hamburg equalized after a penalty won and converted by Glatzel, following a mistake by Kabak.

Before the break, Hoffenheim regained the lead through Lemperle, after a deflection from Hajdari. In the second half, Hamburg created several chances, but failed to convert them.

The best chance was a header by Jatta, which was missed. With this victory, Hoffenheim remains in the race for a place in the Champions League. While Hamburg continues its winless streak in six matches.
