The referee issues endless cards, Milan-Chelsea for the record

Chelsea defeated Milan with the result 0-2, in the valuable challenge for Group E of the Champions League. In this match, the German judge, Siebert, was quite lenient, as he issued a total of 6 cards in the first half, 5 yellow and one red. 

This is the highest number of cards issued in the first half, this season. In no other game this season in the Champions League have so many cards been issued in the first 45 minutes.

As for the match, the second consecutive loss in the Champions League has set Milan back a full 11 years. The Reds have registered only 3 times in this competition, 2 defeats in a row. Previously this happened in December 2006 (against AEK Athens and Lika) and in February 2011 (against Ajax and Tottenham).
