Antony is not going through an easy period at Manchester United, with the Brazilian missing from the formation map and playing just 60 seconds against Brighton in the Championship.

Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag has told the media that Brazilian winger Antony must "earn the right" to play for the club.

"Antony? He is impatient and wants to play. But football has some laws. I have to pick the team that has the best chance to win the match, the one with the best dynamic and the best chemistry. Players must fight for their positions. He must overcome the players who play as a starter and he must earn the right in training", said the Dutchman.

Signed for £82million from Ajax in 2022, Antony is the second most expensive player in United's history behind Paul Pogba, but he has scored just five goals and provided three assists in 55 Premier League games this season the past contributed with a single goal and an assist./ CNA
