Anthony Joshua accepts all conditions, the super duel with Tyson Fury on December 3 is official

Anthony Joshua's management team have confirmed that the two-time heavyweight champion has agreed an all-British showdown with Tyson Fury on December 3.

Fury issued the challenge to his local rival last week and gave Joshua two dates to choose from; November 26 at Wembley Stadium or December 3 at Cardiff's Principality Stadium. Joshua has already accepted the latter.

"I can confirm on behalf of @anthonyjoshua that we have accepted all the terms presented by Fury's team for a duel on December 3rd, terms made last Friday," 258 MGT tweeted on Tuesday at morning.

Joshua's team quickly reacted with Frank Warren on Twitter. Warren replied: "The contract will close with you very soon." After this exchange on Twitter, it now appears that the biggest duel in the heavyweight division is getting closer.

Fury and Joshua looked set to meet last year when they were negotiating a duel between them, but an arbitration panel ruled that Fury should face Deontay Wilder for a third time in the country.

Since then, Joshua has lost twice to Oleksandr Usyk, while Fury has challenged Wilder and Dillian Whyte. With Usyk deciding not to fight again in 2022 so he can rest his body and spend time with his family in his native Ukraine, Fury was keen to stay active and called up Joshua.

He had also previously issued challenges to Derek Chisora ??and Manual Charr, so some fans were skeptical about how serious his challenge was. People may have expected him to send Joshua a crushing offer now that he is no longer champion at his weight, but Fury revealed last Wednesday that he was happy to settle a 60-40 split in his favour.

Joshua has now agreed to this and it looks like the fight could be officially announced in the near future, provided no further issues arise.
