Ancelotti: No one has called me about managing Brazil, but if they do...

Carlo Ancelotti once again dismisses the rumors linking him to the bench of the Brazilian national team. "Selecao" have been without a helmsman since coach Tite was sacked after being eliminated in the quarter-finals of the World Cup in Qatar against Croatia. Expectations of the five-time world champions were high and as a result Tite had to leave after the disappointment in Qatar.

One of the names floated to replace him was Ancelotti. However, the Italian from Real Madrid clarified in the press conference that he has had no contact with the Brazilian Federation while emphasizing that his objective is to stay in charge of "Los Blancos" until the end of the contract (June 30, 2024).

"Nobody from Brazil called me, but if there was interest I would feel really appreciated. However, my position is clear; I will never tell Real Madrid managers that my adventure here is over, I am inclined to respect the contract until the end", said the 63-year-old.
