Duke's Analysis: The Toughest Race Is for Survival

The Superior has entered the final four weeks and the competition continues to be strong on both fronts, both for the Final 4 and for survival.

The President of the Albanian Football Federation, Armand Duka, has analyzed the final phase of the championship, appreciating the strong competition that is taking place both in terms of participation in the Final 4 and in the fight for survival.

According to him, at the moment the fiercest fight seems to be for survival, where five teams are playing to avoid the last two places.

"Every championship in the final phase becomes really exciting, interesting because those decisions about a year's contribution are shared, so there is really more competition, more commitment, especially from the teams that claim more from this championship.

I can't predict anything, the most predictable thing of all is that almost the four teams that will participate in the Final 4 at the National Arena stadium are determined, perhaps with some discussion between Partizan and Elbasan, while Vllaznia, Egnatia and Dinamo have almost secured their places.

"Unfortunately, at the end of the championship, not everyone is happy with the results, but we should be happy with the play and the contribution they have made during the year."

"All competitions have specific emotions, there are emotions to be part of the Final 4, there are emotions to be champions or your own emotions to ensure survival. The fiercest fight at the moment seems to be at the bottom of the table, where the ranking is very tight from 6th place to 10th place, there are small differences."

The head of the football government also spoke about the importance of investments in infrastructure and the great need for the increase in football grounds and fields, especially training grounds. He also underlined the importance of new projects for the reconstruction of four new stadiums and the implementation of the AFF's "100 Fields" project.

"Investments are one of the main pillars for the development of football and for this reason we are very focused on this changing positively. The joint investments made for football in Albania are really a lot, but even more are needed. The projects that we have and are continuing to implement are numerous, because the '100 fields' project continues because our main disease is the training field, and not the playing field.

In a way, the infrastructure for the development of the activity, especially the Abyssnet Superiore championship, is at satisfactory levels. Several stadiums have been built in Albania, three new stadiums are in the process of being rebuilt, and a fourth project has already been added with the "Selman Stërmasi" stadium, which I believe will take the level of stadiums and sports infrastructure for playing football to a higher and more acceptable level.

"These are projects that will continue, we can never say that they are enough, because the more the number of football players and interest in football increases, the more we need more suitable facilities to have activities with a better level of organization and with better conditions for spectators. It remains a challenge for the clubs, but also for the Albanian Football Association, to fill these new reconstructed stadiums, but with such good people to support football."
