False alarm in Italy, Spalletti changes the scheme for Albania

Italy will play the first match of the European Championship against Albania on Saturday. Throughout the week there have been rumors of problems in coach Spalletti's team, but it seems to have been just a false alarm.

The starting midfielder, Nicolo Barela, has completely recovered from the injury and will be ready for tomorrow's match with Albania.

An added strength for the "Axuri", knowing the great importance that the Inter player has in the team.

Barela is in a runoff with Cristante for a place in the midfield against Albania.

Coach Spalletti tested Calafiori in defence, along with Bastoni and Di Lorenzo.

The Italian national team comes as the reigning champions at Euro 2024, while they are also seen as one of the favorites to take the trophy in the end.

Italy starts against Albania in the groups and will then face Spain and Croatia.

POSSIBLE FORMATION (3-4-2-1): Donnarumma, Di Lorenzo, Calafiori, Bastoni; Di Marco, Barella, Jorginho, Chiesa; Pellegrini, Frattesi; Sccamacca.
