OFFICIAL/ Milan chooses a Portuguese for the bench

Paulo Fonseca is officially the new coach of Milan. The Portuguese technician was announced on the Rossoneri bench this Thursday.

On the "devil's" bench, Fonseca will succeed the departed Stefano Pioli, who finished with Milan after five ups and downs.

The 51-year-old coach has signed a two-year contract with the Italian club, with the possibility of renewal for another season.

Also, Fonseca will receive a salary of 2.5 million euros in the season. The Portuguese, in the last season was part of Lille in France, where he stood out for the beautiful game, but also for the results achieved.

Fonseca is also a good connoisseur of the Italian championship, as in the past he managed the Roma team for two seasons, from 2019 to 2021.
