Challenge with Italy, dilemma for the formation in Albania

The Albanian national team has continued preparations within the framework of the first European match, against Italy, at the base camp in Kaizerau.

The team held only one training session, under the orders of coach Silvinjo and his technical staff.

The Department of the Albanian Football Federation announced that after Wednesday's training, the group was complete and in very good condition, while luckily none of the players had any physical problems.

Even Thursday reserves only one training session for Albania, while preparations will end on Friday.

The first European match against Italy is scheduled to be played on Saturday, June 15, at 21:00 at the Dortmund stadium.

The Reds and Blacks will play the second challenge against Croatia on June 19, while the last match of the group will be against Spain, scheduled for June 24.

Coach Silvinho has not decided the formation yet, as he has dilemmas about the choices against Italy. Strakosha is expected to play in goal, Hysaj on the right and Mitaj on the left. Gjimshiti is indisputable in the center, while there is a runoff between Ismajli and Ajeti.

In midfield, Asllani and Ramadani will be starters, but it has not been decided yet, if Silvinjo will play with three or two in midfield.

Asani on the right of attack and Broja in the center look safe so far. The dilemma is also about the scheme. If Silvinjo chooses to play with 4-3-3, Qazim Laçi would be added to the midfield, to replace Bajram on the left side of the attack.

However, if the coach chooses 4-2-3-1, then Bajrami would be in the role of fantasist, while Seferi or Hoxha on the left of the attack.
