A tradition that has been followed for years continues to accompany January 1 of every New Year in the Devolli area.

Groups of people dressed in colors and "scary" masks knock on the doors of citizens. The so-called "street people" appear in the courtyards of houses with drums and dancing, and as a tradition the owner of the house must give them money.

The "streets" are divided into groups and each group has a "bride" among them, i.e. dressed in a white dress with a bag on her shoulder.

The "bride" of the group has the task of collecting money that is donated by various citizens.

This is a very old tradition, but one that has been passed down from generation to generation and continues to give excitement even in 2023./ BA - CNA.al
