The clocks change on Sunday/ Scorpions will return 60 minutes later

On Sunday, October 26, daylight saving time returns and the clock hands will go back 60 minutes.

The clock change will occur at 03:00, when the clocks will move forward to 02:00, giving us the opportunity to sleep an extra hour. Another change is that there will be one hour less natural light in the afternoon.

All digital devices are updated automatically. Daylight Saving Time remains in effect until March 29, 2026, when, as always, at 03:00 in the morning, legal time, otherwise known as summer time, comes into effect.

The determination of the time change never has a fixed date, in both cases, but is always applied on the night between the last Saturday and Sunday of October and March.

There has been discussion for years about eliminating this change from legal time to solar time, but European Union countries have not yet agreed, although there is an opinion that the time change has negative effects on mental health./CNA
