Americans Say It/ This is the number 1 factor in living a fulfilling life 

Having a job you enjoy can not only make everyday life easier, but also appears to improve overall life satisfaction, reports CNBC.

Americans say having a career they enjoy is the most important factor in living a fulfilling life, according to a new study from Peë Research. Over 70% of respondents say that having a job or career they enjoy is an extremely important factor in living a fulfilling life. Only 24% of people said that having a lot of money is just as important.

However, money can make it easier for you to get the things that ultimately bring you fulfillment, and 49% of Americans agree that having a lot of money is "somewhat important" to living a fulfilled life.

Most Americans say they need to earn at least $100,000 a year just to be comfortable, according to the latest CNBC Your Money Survey.
