All people, without exception, are happy when someone gives them a gift. Although the gift itself is a thing, it gives you great joy. The gift represents the care and memory of one person for another.

A man who has decided to give a gift, has remembered and thought about the other. This property of giving a gift, which is characteristic of being an adult, must be transmitted and cultivated to the child.

When we teach the child to give gifts, we encourage the child to enjoy giving and to think about the other person and what he can give them.

Although it is not easy for a child up to eight years old to give gifts, since the brain and mental mechanisms for such a process have not yet been formed, the adults next to them can invite them to help them when packing or choosing gifts, especially in case holidays, the little one can also be asked to make a drawing or collect flowers and give them.

He may be asked for a toy that he no longer uses, but be careful parents, if he refuses, don't make him feel bad or guilty. Learning to donate is a whole process of growth and takes time, so be careful with labels.

The day will come to learn and develop this quality, but the learning should not be provoked by the feeling of guilt, so that it becomes good in the eyes of others.
