The Minister of Health and Social Protection, Ogerta Manastirliu, has inspected the new hospital in Laçi, rebuilt after the earthquake damage, which is expected to start working soon.

“Bëhemi gati për të hapur këtë spital sa më shpejt. Pra, presim edhe disa mobilime të tjera spitalore, ndërsa pjesa e infrastrukturës së rëndë tashmë ka përfunduar. Grafia gjithashtu është gati, është kolauduar. Besoj që kjo na jep një dorë sepse edhe pajisjet në këtë spital ishin tërësisht të vjetëruara dhe të amortizuara në raport me atë që ne duam të ofrojmë për qytetarët, që mbi të gjitha është cilësia e shërbimit”, tha Manastirliu.

Ministrja e Shëndetësisë tha se spitali i Laçit do të fuqizohet gjithashtu me mjekë të rinj.

“Duke qenë se kemi tashmë një strukturë të mirëmenduar për një spital si i Kurbinit, por edhe në tërësi për spitalet bashkiake, kemi vlerësuar që të kemi edhe një sallë lindjeje natyrale. Sepse patjetër që edhe me ardhjen e mjekut obstetër-gjinekolog, mund të bëjmë edhe lindjet në këtë spital. Kështu që kemi kemi investuar pikërisht në sallën e lindjes dhe besoj që është një tjetër hap përpara drejt një unifikimi të shërbimeve dhe në spitalet bashkiake”, tha Manastirliu.

Gjatë inspektimit, Ministrja Manastirliu tha se ky spital do të jetë model për gjithë spitalet bashkiake në vend.

"With the Laçi hospital, we want to create a model. A model that we will then extend throughout Albania, in terms of the services that this hospital will offer, because we have grouped them in pathology, pediatrics, obstetrics-gynecology services and thus have the opportunity to have a hospital service more efficient ", said Manastirliu.

The capacities of this hospital are up to 40 beds. The 50-year-old building where the Kurbin hospital operated was declared uninhabitable after damage from the earthquake of November 26, 2019. The reconstruction of the Kurbin hospital has a total investment value of 2.8 million euros and a construction area of ??2516 m2. With the construction of the new hospital, more than 46 thousand citizens of Kurbini will benefit from health services according to the best standards./ CNA.al
