Ylli Manjani analyzes the defeat of the opposition/ Some facts and information
Former Minister of Justice, Ylli Manjani

The former Minister of Justice, Ylli Manjani, has made an analysis on the local elections of May 14, where the opposition had a deep defeat.

Manjani has listed some facts and data from the polls, where the most popular politician was Prime Minister Edi Rama dha from the ranks of the opposition, Sali Berisha.

According to him, this also explains the reason why Rama used his image in the campaign, while regarding the election result he declares that it is deeper than theft.

Regarding the request for Berisha's resignation, he opposes it, as he says that this would weaken the opposition.

However, the former minister declares that with such likability, Berisha has no chance to be the leader of the opposition to power.

Full analysis:

Well, since you insist on the swamp-argument about who is the best leader and who should leave, I am trying to bring to your attention some facts and data.

On the eve of the elections, before the official campaign started yet, the popularity of political leaders in the country was measured.

After 10 years in power, 6 of which he had absolute rule, Edi Rama entered the elections as the most popular politician in the country with 45% popularity.

He was followed by Erion Veliaj with 37% popularity.

In the ranks of the opposition, the popularity was:

Berisha with 27% popularity.

Meta with 12% likeability.

Basha and his authorizations with 5-7% compatibility. (Tip Percentage)...

So, clearly the most popular politician in the country was Edi Rama. I believe, this was the reason he put his face on the electoral logo, in front of those of the opposition.

Berisha, although the most popular among the opposition leaders, did not manage to get close to Rama. His popularity is certainly not enough to gain popular image and perception.

In total, the Albanian people have low and very low approval ratings for the opposition leaders and more approval ratings for the power leaders.

This pre-election perception was also confirmed in the elections.

Whether we like it or not, this is how it is, beyond the debate on the freedom of voters or electoral crime, which cannot cover the huge difference in approval ratings. The result is deeper than theft. Only the difference in agreeableness explains this. Also look closely at the low turnout which is again related to likeability.

He who knows how to vote has no government that can stop him or buy him.

In these conditions, the opposition had to do its best to strengthen the image of the candidates by diluting that of the leaders. But this is another topic.

Now, if this reality is ignored there is no chance that anything will change in the future.

Those who say Berisha should go, that is, the best among them, are either the most hated in popularity or playing the divisive game of power. In other words, let the few militant democrats who still gather around him disperse and let the cuckoo sing afterwards. This is what they say in a nutshell.

On the other hand, Berisha has no chance to be the leader of the opposition towards power.

The other opponents only have to play with small goals, but Toma is playing that sport better. It is unlikely that in free competition they will get their mandates already...

Therefore, there is no sense in arguing with each other. Stand up and see the truth in the eye.

For me, a new project is required, with a long-term objective and capillary organization. In this project, there is no place for leaders, but for teams. In this project there should be no more debate of faces and jackets, but room for the entire inventory of those who do not want monism.

Above all, a clear program is needed to represent today's Albanians, not those of the past.

Etc, etc... there are a number of things that need to be done.

***

As for me, I am more and more convinced that getting back on the road to Europe is our most important project.

A European government would help Albania get out of this vicious collapse from monism to monism./ CNA.al
