Diaspora Vote/ CEC provides instructions for uploading addresses to PER

The head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi, in a post once again reminded the Diaspora of the procedures they must follow in registering for the May 11 elections.

Celibashi writes that immigrants must upload a document to the platform that proves their residence.

A document that must be in the voter's name or contain his or her name. This document, Celibashi writes, must have a clear picture of the address and name.

In the PER you must upload a proof of address document, which contains your place of residence in the relevant country.

???? Address document requirements:

? The document must be in your name or contain your name.

? The address listed on the document must be the same as the one you declare on the PER.

? Make sure that the image of the document uploaded to PER clearly shows both your address and name.

? If the document has multiple pages or sides, upload the one that contains your address and name.

???? Example:

Some voters residing in Italy were rejected because they uploaded the wrong side of their Italian ID card, namely the one containing the photo, instead of the one containing the address.

???? If the address document is in the name of a family member:

? Upload the address document that is in the family member's name.

? Upload a family certificate or a statement from a relative, where he/she confirms that you reside at the same address.

???? If the address document is in the name of another person with whom you share the apartment:

? Upload the address document that is in the name of the person you share the apartment with.

? Upload a signed statement from this person, where he/she confirms that you reside at the same address.

? Attention!

The Albanian ID card or passport cannot be used as proof of your residence address in the relevant country!
