The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party, Bledi Çuçi, lied publicly today stating that the budget was not approved within 8 minutes. But in fact today the plenary session lasted only 8 minutes and the opposition did not participate. According to Çuç, the budget was discussed for a long time in the committees. 

"The chair revolution, you saw the next session. This story has become completely ridiculous. The budget was not approved in 8 minutes, but after a very long discussion that took place in the committees. We could hardly get them to enter in the commissions. All interest groups were consulted, the meetings were open. The discussions were exhaustive. There is debate, there are alternatives. Plenary sessions are held to approve. There is no doubt that there is an anomaly caused by the opposition"- said Chuçi. 

Although the opposition did not participate in the vote, the majority gave 74 votes for the budget.

Immediately after closing the voting, Speaker Lindita Nikolla closed the session. Prime Minister Edi Rama was also present at the session. The opposition caused tensions and, just like in the previous sessions, ignited smoke. /CNA
